Good prime Rib on Saturdays and good auce chicken and fixings on Sunday. Mary is an awesome waitress... the food has always been good. The owner sucks as a bartender, we had to wait for her to get done putting a bar full of glasses away, no big deal, but as we sat there for about 10 min another couple came in. She walked down by us thinking she would take or drink order and she told us just a minute and went back to wait on the other people and get there drinks and menus as we sat there.. she came back to us and I pulled my money off the bar and told her we weren't drinking now. And we wanted to eat. I told her about what she just did, she said she can't please everyone.. after dinner we left and the bar had 1 person in it, she didn't say thank you for coming or nothing..

Called ahead to see if they had the family style all you can eat chicken dinner, was told yes, come to find out that wasn't so. Staff is quick to become defensive, prices are outrageous! Staff seems to favor the "regulars"

They have awesome food! I had the prime rib, and it was excellent. Wendy had the baby back ribs, and they were great. We had excellent drinks, and service was wonderful. We've always enjoyed Nimrod Inn, and go there at least a couple times a year.

This place went out of their way to make a group of 30 hungry individuals very happy. Food and service was remarkable.

Food was great, everything at the salad bar was fresh. Ribs are amazing, and the french onion soup is to die for. Waitress was amazing couldnt ask for better service. Looks like a run down place but the dinning area is very nice. Food is a little pricey but for the quality I would be willing to pay even more.

Only gave the star because zero stars was not an option. Came in for a Friday fish fry. all you can eat Alaskan walleye. Fish was good. Ate a bite of the rye bread, it was soured. I had just ordered a second plate of fish, when an overwhelming feeling came over me. I instantly felt hot and sick to my stomach. I went into the men's room and after a few minutes felt slightly better. When we voiced our concerns to the waitress, she said let me go talk to him (him being the owners son and cook). After a longer than necessary wait, he came out and told us that if it were something to do with the food it would not have hit us this quickly. He did not even offer an apology, much less a discounted bill, insisting that "you will be paying the entire bill". This was not my first time eating here, but it will certainly be my last. If this review saves anyone from the nausea and verbal assault I experienced tonight, then I am glad I wrote it.

Great food when they're open. It would be great if you posted what days and hours you're open. I'm tired if driving my ass 20 miles to eat, and the lights are off. Luckily I found a great place on Benson Lake Road......for 3 days in a row.

Have a Brandy old fashioned when you walk in, enjoy the atmosphere. Then get a table for dinner. B-line to the salad bar; my favorite was the potato salad but many delicious salads to choose from (and lettuce stuff too!). Prim rib is the dish to get if you're going to the Nimrod but ribs and pork chops are amazing as well. The star of the show IMO though, are the side of hashed browns... Out of this world, phenomenal. The chef (cook?) Must hand shred the potatoes with some onion and then cooks the mixture to crispy perfection. The bread they serve for free is delicious as well. It ain't classy but the food is great and I personally love the unique atmosphere.

Didn't realize there was a supper club at this bar .Salad bar was fresh, you could tell soups were homemade and our meal was really good . Service was good as well . The bar was ok

Take a look and you'll think "just another county bar" walk instead and get ready to be surprised. This bar is very clean and has amazing food! I forgot to take pictures but I will be going back on my way through the town next time.

Never judge a book by it cover. Better than expected food. Prime Rib was excellent! And right off the trails.
